Why Divvy?

Over the past decade, millions of Americans have been forced to put their dreams of homeownership on hold. Home prices have outpaced wage growth while mortgage requirements continue to tighten. As a result, renters are missing out on a critical wealth-building opportunity: owning a home.

At Divvy, we're building an on-ramp to homeownership – one that's more affordable, more flexible, and an overall better fit for the modern American family – and it’s working.

Divvy is looking for a seasoned Accounting Manager to join our growing team. You will be managing a small team and the consolidation of our financials. You will be an integral part of driving process improvements across the whole organization and will need a strong accounting foundation and business acumen as the company will look to you for guidance and support of operations. The ideal candidate will have great interpersonal skills, the ability to work cross-functionally with various departments, sound judgment, and a bias toward action. We need you to learn the details of the business and be prepared to roll up your sleeves, when needed, in order to meet executive expectations. This position will report to the Controller.

Your colleagues on the Accounting team are comprised of public, banking, and startup alumni, and this role will have constant interaction across all departments. A self-starter that can navigate working on multiple projects while managing a team will surely succeed in this role.
