Description:Performs basic accounting functions including compilation of financial information, journal entry processing, reconciliations, and the analysis of data. Records, classifies, and summarizes financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Initiates and processes journal entries into various accounts. Reconciles accounts as required and resolves differences. Provides financial information as required to management. Uses various software applications such as spreadsheets and databases to provide supporting documentation for schedules and journal entries. Perform analyses on various balance sheet accounts such accrued salaries and wages, accrued vacation, accrued payroll taxes, etc. Perform various administrative and audit related tasks for timekeeping systems. Participate in new projects as they arise.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from an accredited college. Entry Level.
Desired Skills:
BS degree in Accounting, Computer -Excel, Word, Access CPA or CPA candidate.
Relevant accounting experience or internship in that field.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
