Accountant
Responsibilities
Principal Global Investors is actively seeking an Accountant to join their team. In this role, you will have a wide variety of responsibilities assisting in the financial administration and analysis of incentive compensation for a global workforce.
How you will spend your time:
- Leading the financial administration of incentive and sales compensation plans for Principal Global Investors.
- Calculating and analyzing incentive compensation results, providing both narratives and variance analysis explanations.
- Partnering with internal colleagues to accurately interpret and manage incentive compensation plans.
- Collaborating with auditors to ensure timely completion of audits and assurance of strong controls.
- Leading projects that embrace technology, create process efficiency, and elevate reporting.
Qualifications
Job level - Willing to consider talent at the next level with the right experience and skills.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience required.
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must exhibit excellent attention to detail and accuracy and be results oriented.
- Must possess strong communication skills, including verbal and written.
- CPA or other applicable certifications preferred.
Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.Salary Range
$65600 - $90300 / yearAdditional Information
Work Environment
This role offers the ability for in-office, hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements. You'll work with your leader to determine which option may align best based on several factors.
