About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to support the Company's accounting team with its external financial reporting obligations. This position is responsible for the accurate application of GAAP for operational functions. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual, driven to produce quality work, and enthusiastic about continuous learning within a complex, dynamic industry. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement.
Essential Functions
- Assist with preparation of the Company's Form 10-Q and Form 10-K quarterly and annual Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings
- Assist with preparation of the eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) tagging utilized in the Company's Form 10-Q and Form 10-K filings and evaluating the appropriateness of tags utilized
- Assist with preparation of other financial statements issued by the Company for its various subsidiaries and benefit plan filing requirements
- Assist with preparation of certain internal financial information utilized by senior management
- Complete monthly and quarterly derivative accounting entries
- Perform valuation testing over the Company's derivatives
- Assist with the Company's stock compensation accounting and administration, including preparation of SEC filings required for certain stock compensation transactions
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- Intermediate understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
- Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- 1+ year accounting experience required
- Public accounting experience preferred
