Responsibilities

Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization.

  • Executes the transfer of payroll information to general ledger and Deposits and Accounts Receivable Edit Listings (DARRs) and investigates and solves issues that arise in order to assure accuracy of information.

  • Performs account or financial analysis in order to prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • r n t

  • Assists with preparation of information on doubtful accounts to determine allowance.
  • r n t

  • Performs bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial information.
  • r n t

  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner in order to report accurate data and communicates to all stakeholders the issues or outcomes.
  • r n t

  • Assists in the development, implementation and maintenance of appropriate accounting and internal controls to ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
  • r n t

  • Troubleshoots technical problems and uses appropriate resources for resolution.
  • r n t

  • Represents the department on teams and projects to ensure that departmental needs are met and that actions of the team are in line with departmental goals.
  • r n t

  • Investigates and reviews financial policies in order to improve efficiencies of the department.
  • r n t

  • May assist with internal audits, including but not limited to PBS, PSC, Workers Compensation, 401k. Internal audits are performed to test controls over procedures and recording of data.

  • Backs up team members when needed in order to meet deadlines of the department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance - Preferred
  • r n t

  • 2 years of experience in Related field.
  • r n t

  • Cash and Accounts Receivable reconciliations.
