This position is responsible for maintaining accurate product standard costs for Activewear, including the creation of cost value statements for customs clearance. Actively reviews production promotional exceptions with timely resolution.
Responsibilities
- Clear capture errors to ensure financial transactions promote each month.
- Review product standard costs to ensure accuracy and completeness at the path mfg. flow level.
- Monitor and update projects to ensure costing for styles related to those projects are complete.
- Assist with yearly standards build process including but not limited to loading data, key style analyses, and verifying upcoming costs are setup correctly.
- Provide costs for SAP loading related to customer service requests, un-costed inventory, etc.
- Additional projects as needed.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Accounting / Finance / Business required.
- 5-7 years of accounting and finance experience required.
- Must have a good working knowledge in manufacturing accounting and product costing and strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Must have effective communication skills to collaborate and work with other associates in various departments across the organization.
- Requires proficiency in MS Office applications. Experience with SAP and Lawson preferred.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills and a focus on input accuracy and attention to details.
- A self-starter, flexible, can prioritize and multitask and is action and goal-oriented in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
