The Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Finance and Operations Consultant Analyst to join our Business Operations team with a future path into Finance. In this hybrid role, you will use data to drive strategic decisions across the go-to-market organization while gaining hands-on experience in financial planning and analysis. You will be responsible for building financial models, developing forecasts, analyzing operational data, and synthesizing actionable insights for senior leadership. Over time, this role will transition into the Finance department, offering long-term growth opportunities in financial planning and strategic finance.
What You'll do
Modeling & Analysis
  • Build and maintain financial and operational models to support strategic decision-making across Sales, Marketing, and Post-Sales teams.
  • Analyze performance metrics and trends to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and revenue growth.
  • Develop detailed forecasts and what-if scenario models in partnership with Finance and Go-to-Market leadership.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards that convey financial and operational trends, KPIs, and actionable insights.
  • Support the company's budgeting and forecasting processes through data aggregation and cross-functional collaboration.

Sales & Strategic Planning
  • Support sales planning processes including forecasting, pipeline modeling, territory analysis, and performance tracking.
  • Partner with Finance and Sales to ensure consistent, data-backed approaches to compensation modeling and incentive plan simulations.
  • Collaborate across departments to design models and tools that drive operational transparency and alignment.

Operational Support
  • Drive continuous improvements in reporting accuracy, timeliness, and relevance.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to support real-time business decisions.
  • Help document and refine data processes and reporting structures as part of ongoing scaling efforts.

About You
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in FP&A, business operations, private equity, investment banking, or management consulting.
  • Strong Excel modeling skills and comfort working with large datasets.
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex data in simple terms.

Nice to Have
  • Experience with SQL, Salesforce, or business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Familiarity with financial systems such as Adaptive Planning or Workday Financials.
  • Exposure to sales planning, commission modeling, or go-to-market strategy.
  • Experience with Python for financial or data analysis is a plus.
