Summary of the Position (Job Purpose and Objectives)

The Finance & Data Analytics Manager will be the strategic mind behind our company's financial and business performance visibility. You’ll oversee our financial operations—ensuring accuracy, transparency, and efficiency—while turning data into actionable insights that guide decisions across teams. From forecasting and financial reporting to sales analytics and cash flow optimization, you’ll build and maintain systems that help us understand the health of the business and uncover opportunities for growth. Success in this role means connecting the dots between finance, sales, and operations, and making sure leadership has the clarity and confidence to act fast.


Major Job Duties

● Manage and analyze sales, expenses, and performance reports to generate clear, data-backed insights.

● Build dashboards and models that track the company’s financial health and sales performance.

● Handle bookkeeping and maintain clean, organized, and up-to-date financial records.

● Lead payroll review, billing, and payment processes, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.

● Review and process agents’ invoices and commissions.

● Reconcile accounts and track inventory, ensuring data alignment across systems.

● Partner with leadership to forecast revenue, model growth scenarios, and monitor KPIs.

● Identify process improvements and automation opportunities across finance andreporting.


Required Qualifications/ Skills

● Strong analytical mindset with experience transforming raw data into insights.

● Excellent financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting abilities.

● Skilled in identifying trends and presenting data clearly to non-financial audiences.

● Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong problem-solving instincts.

● Self-starter who thrives in an evolving, fast-paced environment.
Tools

● Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, dashboards, automation).

● Experience with financial and reporting tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Airtable, Power BI).

● Familiarity with workflow and automation tools such as Zapier, n8n, and Make.

● Comfortable working with project and data visualization tools like Asana, Vibe Canvas, and Lucid.

● Experience integrating data across systems to create unified dashboards or reporting flows.


Education

● Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.


Abilities

● Ability to own end-to-end financial and reporting processes with minimal supervision.

● Strong business acumen and understanding of how financial health ties to sales and operations.

● Excellent communication and storytelling skills with data.


Experience

● 5+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, or data analytics roles.

● Experience in e-commerce, DTC, or fast-moving startups (preferred).


Certificates

● CPA, CFA, or data analytics certification (a plus, not required).
