About the Role:
As a Strategy & Analytics Lead, you will act as a key partner in shaping strategic initiatives across the organization by leveraging data, analytics, and financial modeling. You will lead and influence cross-functional teams to translate complex challenges into actionable insights, facilitate stakeholder alignment, and drive results. While you won’t have direct reports, you will lead project workstreams and guide collaborative efforts across multiple departments.
This is a highly visible role that requires a strong mix of analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to facilitate conversations and gather feedback from diverse stakeholders. You'll be expected to identify opportunities, propose new projects, and own the end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives, including user story definition, stakeholder coordination, and performance tracking.
What You'll Do
- Define business objectives and measurable OKRs, monitor performance, and surface insights to support strategic decisions.
- Lead deep-dive analyses to identify business trends and deliver clear, actionable insights to senior leadership and C-level stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (analytics, data science, finance, operations) to translate business needs into structured data requirements and user stories.
- Partner with Data Product Managers and IT teams to ensure timely delivery of data products and analytics solutions.
- Build and maintain financial models and business cases to evaluate initiatives, forecast impact, and track realized benefits.
- Support change management, prototypes, and demos by facilitating stakeholder alignment across business units.
Requirements
- Strong experience in strategy, analytics, data/financial analysis
- Background in the insurance sector would be ideal (personal lines/auto insurance)
- Prove ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences
- Experience gathering and translating complex requirements into actionable plans
- Strong problem solving and independent working skills
- Excellent communication
