Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and experienced Executive Assistant to support our Senior Vice President (SVP). This role requires exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, enterprise-level environment. As the trusted right hand to the SVP, you will serve as a critical point of coordination, enabling efficient operations and strategic time management.Job Description
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Execution:Manage special projects and cross-functional initiatives on behalf of the SVP to help elevate the team and lead by example across the organization
Innovate on ways to elevate the output and impact of your role using AI
Partner with other executive assistants and departments to align schedules and workflows.
Maintain department files, records, org charts, and team communications.
Manage complex calendars, appointments, and meetings across time zones.
Coordinate domestic and international travel, itineraries, and expense reporting.
Prepare briefing materials, agendas, and presentations for executive meetings.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Schedule and organize internal and external meetings for Leadership and Team
Manage meeting actions and programs using Monday.com
Plan and execute team offsites, executive events, and customer meetings as needed.
Act as a liaison between the SVP and internal/external stakeholders.
Draft, proofread, and edit correspondence, communications, and reports.
Prioritize and manage incoming requests, flagging critical issues and responding on behalf of the SVP when appropriate.
Relationship Management: Liaise with executives, partners, vendors, and board members; serve as a professional and approachable first point of contact.
Executive presence with the confidence to drive and contribute to conversations
Know the value of understanding Property & Casualty insurance market, its trends, dynamics, and strategic levers.
Sharp business acumen; you understand how companies make money, scale operationsAbility to connect the dots across complex inputs and organizations—financials, customer needs, operational efficiency—and turn them into a compelling strategic narrative.
A builder of momentum: you drive progress week over week, keep teams focused, and move from ideas to outcomes quickly.
Professionalism: High integrity, discretion, and emotional intelligence. You navigate sensitive discussions with grace and hold yourself and others to high standards.
5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar high-level administrative role, preferably supporting senior leadership in an enterprise environment.
Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; capable of representing the SVP professionally.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and productivity tools (e.g., Concur, Slack, Zoom, DocuSign, etc.).
Ability to anticipate needs, work independently, and manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.
Discreet, reliable, and capable of handling confidential or sensitive information.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $82,000 - $124,000 . Your base pay will depend on your experience, skills, education, training, and location among other factors. All full-time positions or part-time roles working 30 hours or more a week at Guidewire are eligible for benefits that support their health and well-being including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a company sponsored retirement plan. In addition, some roles may be eligible for the annual company bonus plan, commissions, and/or long term incentive awards which are contingent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, company and employee performance.Disability Accommodations and Guidewire’s Appeals Process.
