About the Role
As an Event Manager, you will play a key role in delivering Xsolla’s experiential marketing initiatives targeting Russian-speaking communities across Europe and nearby regions. You will work closely with the Director Experiential Marketing and regional marketing teams to research, plan, manage logistics, and deliver a range of events— including conferences, trade shows, networking meetups, and speaking engagements — that strengthen our presence within these audiences.
You will lead planning and on-site delivery for events across Cyprus, Serbia, Montenegro, Azerbaijan, Georgia & UAE and other countries with significant Russian-speaking communities.
This role requires strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring brand consistency and operational excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research, plan, and execute events in Cyprus, Serbia, Montenegro, Azerbaijan, Georgia, UAE, and similar markets.
- Source and negotiate with venues and vendors, including booth builders, AV teams, event rentals, and merchandise producers.
- Manage all event logistics — from budgeting and production to on-site setup and delivery.
- Coordinate event marketing with internal teams — including landing pages, social media, and email campaigns.
- Oversee sponsorship activations and ensure all deliverables are executed effectively.
- Support speaking engagements by coordinating with Business Development and Product teams for session preparation.
- Maintain detailed event roadmaps, trackers, and documentation using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Google Suite.
- Manage post-event follow-up: lead capture, internal feedback collection, reporting, and content archiving.
- Represent Xsolla at events, ensuring high standards of professionalism and a strong brand presence.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience managing events in games, tech, or software industries.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong logistics, budgeting, and vendor management skills.
- Exceptional organizational ability with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively across teams and time zones.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently within Europe and neighboring regions.
- Experience using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and Google Workspace.
- Creativity and innovation in event design and execution — a passion for creating memorable experiences.
- Native Russian speaker.
- This is an hybrid position depending on location in Cyprus
- Some after-hours work may be required
