Context :

With the ambition to make the CHC GBU autonomous, some new entities have been created:

  • Opella Healthcare Group which is the new Entrepreneur of the CHC organization supporting risks, supporting central costs and remunerating IPO ,
  • Opella Healthcare International is which Opella Healthcare RDC : Pharmaceutical Establishment manufacturer, Importer, Distributor, Depositary.
  • Opella Healthcare France which is the France distributor of CHC products.

Entity controller main responsibilities:

  • Analyze the financial statement of French CHC entities and provide qualitative analyze to the Head of Finance on monthly basis before package submission .
  • Review, validate and provide expertise on accounting treatment for complex flows, contracts
  • French statutory account : support the process and do consistency checks
  • Support Standard cost process for Opella Healthcare International .
  • Ensure compliance of processes, transactions and reports with Sanofi accounting policies, internal control guidelines and audit / SOX requirements
  • Manage the relationship with key stakeholders
    • Work closely with GBS stream lead ( A2R , S2V and CI2C ) in order to have a global view of financial statement .
    • Implement strong collaboration with GBS streams (A2R, CI2C and S2V) ,with Head of Finance Performance, with Supply chain and customer service, with Commercial operations….
  • Support the Head of finance on flows activity by leading projects (divertissement, continuous process improvement ….)

Continuous improvement:

  • Identify process improvement opportunities through elimination of redundant activities and potential automation

Main professional relationships:

Ensure strong and efficient transversal relationships with other stakeholders, mainly:

  • Tax and TP Corporate, regional or country tax managers
  • IFSA team
  • GBS, SBS Accounting
  • Supply Chain
  • Treasury
  • ITS
  • Internal Control
  • Ethics & Business Integrity
  • Finance performance team
  • Procurement
  • BPO partner

Skills

  • Technical expertise in finance , Strong analytical skills and strength of proposal
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills to resolve issues in a manner that is customer oriented. Focused on business-value, with a flexible and versatile approach that takes into account and adjusts to develop recommendations that reflect shifting business priorities.
  • Strong process knowledge with ability to redefine processes from end to end to support Business needs
  • Transversal mindset and ability to work across processes, geographies, languages, cultures, business maturity levels
  • Strong Knowledge in project management, including overall IT system aspects, demonstrate ability to drive initiatives from concept to execution
  • High level of Interpersonal/ communication skills with an ability to communicate and present at different levels of the organization
  • Team management: Strong leadership, autonomy and management skills: management of resources required ensuring timely availability of resources that have right skills, experience and capability.
  • Fluent in English and French

Background

  • Finance equivalent or Master Degree in Business Administration.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in project leadership or support functions roles and more than 5 years direct work experience in a project management capacity (including process development/execution).
  • Must have experience of working with key stakeholders across functions up to Executive level.
  • International background with exposure to multicultural environments.
