Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead Opportunity Discovery:
Communicate and collaborate with regional and global sales teams across the business units to help identify and qualify high-impact, cross-portfolio opportunities.
When no lead business unit exists (e.g. a new, first-time discovery call), facilitate early-stage engagement with customers to understand their energy transition goals, technical challenges, and strategic priorities.
Solution Orchestration:
Coordinate with the Projects Coordination Office (PCO), Consulting Services (CS), and multi-disciplinary teams from across GE Vernova (Gas Power, Wind, Grid Solutions, Electrification, Digital, etc.) to articulate and document the integrated solutions required to meet customer needs.
Act as a liaison between business unit sales, the PCO, and commercial operations to align value propositions and delivery capabilities.
Sales Enablement:
Assist in the development and maintenance of tools, frameworks, and best practices for integrated solution selling.
Support the creation of value-based proposals, executive briefings, and business case development.
Governance & Pipeline Management:
Working with the PCO, participate in a structured process for cross-business sales coordination, including deal qualification, stakeholder alignment, and executive reviews.
Track pipeline of multi-business opportunities, ensuring appropriate resource allocation and timely escalation of roadblocks.
Market Insights & Strategy:
Provide feedback from the field to product and commercial teams on emerging customer needs, solution gaps, and market trends.
Through deep collaboration, help shape GE Vernova’s go-to-market strategy and presentation materials for integrated offerings based on customer demand signals.
Business Impact & Influence
This role will interface with the most senior organizational levels within GE Vernova as well as with potential customers, partners, and governmental entities, including but not limited to, C-suite personnel and their Chief’s of Staff and senior levels within the Department of Defense and Department of Energy.
Typical project values will be $2B at minimum and could far exceed $10B.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
10+ years of experience in energy, industrial, or infrastructure sectors with at least 5 years in a sales, commercial, or solutions leadership role.
Minimum of 1 year experience coordinating complex sales pursuits involving multiple GE Vernova business units or product lines.
Desired Characteristics:
Demonstrated collaboration and cooperation with a One Team mindset is a MUST have for this role.
Deep familiarity with GE Vernova’s portfolio (Gas Power, Renewable Energy, Grid Solutions, Digital, etc.)
Prior experience with enterprise-level customers in power utilities, IPPs, governments, or large industrials.
Skilled in consultative selling, solution framing, and value proposition development.
Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of driving clarity and progress in complex deal environments.
Experience with Data Centers and/or Artificial Intelligence clients and their energy needs is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of the energy landscape, particularly around decarbonization, electrification, and digital transformation.
Exceptional cross-functional collaboration, cooperation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to operate in a matrixed organization and drive alignment across diverse teams and priorities.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $151,400.00 and $252,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
