Primarily Work from Home Position but must live in Denver, CO Metro area for in-person meetings that will occur

Role Responsibilities

  • Outbound prospecting and lead generation: Identify and engage with enterprise software engineering leaders, including CTOs, software development directors, and IT managers. 
  • Utilize various channels, such as previous business relationships, networking, cold outreach, industry and networking events, online research, and referrals to generate leads and build a robust pipeline of potential clients. Take responsibility for agreed-upon KPIs, which will guide what it takes to achieve success on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Lead generation is supplemented by inbound marketing leads.
  • Needs analysis and solution positioning: Conduct in-depth “discovery” conversations with prospective clients to understand their software development challenges, goals, and pain points. Orchestrate the sales process to qualify or disqualify each prospect, identify win themes, and utilize internal experts as needed to close qualified opportunities.
  • Consultative selling: Act as a trusted advisor to clients by providing expert guidance and recommendations on software development strategies,
  • technologies, and best practices. Understand their project goals, technical requirements, and budget constraints to propose tailored full-stack application development solutions.
  • Relationship building: Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders within enterprise organizations. Establish credibility and trust by demonstrating deep industry knowledge, an understanding of their business objectives, and a genuine commitment to their success. Leverage these relationships to generate repeat business and expand our footprint within the organization.
  • Solution presentations and demonstrations: Develop solutions with company leaders and deliver compelling presentations to qualified prospects, showcasing the value and capabilities of our full-stack application development expertise. Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, highlighting the business benefits and competitive advantages of our solutions.
  • Proposal development and contract negotiation: Collaborate with internal teams, including software architects, developers, and project managers, to develop comprehensive and customized proposals. Work closely with clients to negotiate contract terms, pricing, and project scope, ensuring a win-win outcome for both parties.
  • Sales tracking and reporting: Using CRM systems, maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and progress. Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market trends to management. Leverage data-driven insights to drive informed decision-making and refine sales strategies.

Must haves:

Candidates without recent and relevant experience will not be considered.

  • Minimum 5 years of full-stack application development sales experience.
  • Can lead a technical solution sales discovery meeting to uncover needs, pain points, and potential solutions.
  • Proven track record in sales with previously established business relationships within the enterprise software industry, with a focus on software development services and expertise. 
  • Strong understanding of full-stack application development processes, methodologies, and technologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders including C-suite executives.
  • Deep knowledge of the enterprise software engineering landscape, trends, and challenges.
  • Previous experience, and established relationships selling to Enterprise Software organizations who rely on full-stack application development partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and nurture relationships with enterprise-level software engineering leaders.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field, is preferred.
