Job Description

We have built one of the most well recognized and appreciated Paczkomat® (Locker) last mile experiences in Poland, with millions of people using them weekly, and we are not stopping there.

Asset Management solution plays a crucial role in the Parcel Locker lifecycle, including knowledge from very beginning on production site, through day-by-day maintenance to disabling it. Inhouse created tool fits best the Group needs and provides the best flexibility to handle custom processes. Although with that range of complexity as many other components EAM faces number of challenges, including technical stack improvements, scaling up and many others.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage 1 or 2 teams of multidisciplinary engineers that are working with web/app technologies (Java, SpringBoot, React, PostgreSQL, Kafka, React, Mobile), providing mentoring, guidance, and support.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in application system design, architecture, and development processes, leveraging the latest technologies and tools to improve product functionality and customer experience.
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
• Work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to define product requirements, develop project plans, and ensure timely delivery of new features and enhancements.
• Work not only within your area but across wider InPost Technology Group to improve the overall architecture, support the global technology initiatives such as cloud transformation, platforming work and leveraging AI.
• Manage the hiring, onboarding, and development of team members, ensure a diverse and inclusive workplace.
• Communicate effectively with interna l and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software development with strong familiarity in web or app based system development and at least one of these technologies (Java, SpringBoot, React, PostgreSQL, Kafka, React, Mobile, Oracle SQL as a nice to have).
• 3+ years of experience leading and managing a high performing development team, to manage and mentor a team of engineers.
• Proven experience in leading and managing Agile development teams, with a deep understanding of Agile principles and methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams and departments.
