The Hyper Protect team is looking for a Software Developer for our Hosting Manager team. As a Software Developer, you will be working on the management component that services the Linux-based Hosting Appliance which is the core for all Hyper Protect services. Hyper Protect is a family of public, hybrid, private cloud services that enables the highest levels of security and confidential computing for workloads in the digital asset, financial, and healthcare industries. Our team uses Agile software development practices in an open, diverse, and supportive culture. The team has members in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Job Duties:
As a Software Developer for the ZaaS Hyper Protect Hosting Manager team, you will

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Node.js code
• Optimize and improve existing code
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Debug and troubleshoot issues
• Work in an Agile environment

You will be a software developer applying aspects of software engineering to infrastructure and operations problems for IBM Cloud Hyper Protect Services, which provides the core set of services around IBM's Confidential Computing platform. Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Industry experience with Bash, Python, Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, REST implementation and GitHub skills.
• Proficient with cloud monitoring and logging tools along with strong automation skill.
• Experience with Unix/Linux systems, preferably 3+ years.
• Strong problem determination and isolation skill.
• Effectively communicate with cross functional teams as well as customers.

• Work in collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design. thinking and find ways to develop with cutting edge technologies.
• Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work.
