Job Duties and Responsibilities
Seeking an experienced Workflow Automation Architect to support the design, development, and implementation of the DISH Wireless Workflow Automation Platform, focusing on the Atlassian toolstack, including Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, external integrations, and 3rd party plugins.
This role will provide strategic direction based on experience and expertise working in a large-scale, software-focused enterprise. The ideal candidate has a good balance of technical and people skills, can balance day-to-day operations with larger program work, and can look at opportunities from a systems-engineering point of view to and develop solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Define and design tool-based workflow solutions based on understanding stakeholder needs
- Ensures solutions align to the existing and future ecosystem and are scalable across the enterprise
- Responsible for defining the mid-term and long-term roadmap for the Atlassian toolstack to include: training, licenses, plug-ins, infrastructure, and technical debt
- Owns all architectural decisions associated with workflows, automation, custom fields, schemes, permissions, add-ons, and integrations
- Models and designs plug-ins and integrations to minimize downtime and maximize functionality in accordance with enterprise roadmap
- Actively drives best practices and maintains consistency across all instances
- Defines and manages the Workflow Integration Platform, including reviewing all integrations with the Atlassian toolstack
- Serve as external SME for the Atlassian Tool Set
Skills, Experience and Requirements
- 5+ years system administration experience managing large multi-organization enterprise environments
- 5+ years of administrative experience with Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence Admin
- Able to collaborate and lead process discussions with individuals from all levels of the organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Conceptual and practical understanding of Agile frameworks to include Scrum and Kanban
- Able to work independently and being a self-starter and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Preference for those who have worked with global teams and third party vendors / contractors
- Applicable Agile certification(s) is a plus (Ex. - Scrum Master, Product Owner, LeSS, SAFe, PMP)
- Applicable JIRA certification(s) is a plus (Ex. - ACP-120, ACP-420, ACP-620)
- Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience or Master's Degree and 3+ years of experience

Salary Range
Compensation: $85,900.00/Year - $143,750.00/Year
