Job Description:
At Pluralsight, our Web Developers are expected to quickly deliver bug-free features to the marketing websites so that customers can have a world class experience while they learn about the Pluralsight products and make buying decisions. They are programmatically literate and can accomplish data manipulation and custom user interaction without libraries or frameworks. They balance workload amongst the team of developers, embracing collaborative efforts and taking individual ownership. They seek mastery of each technology in the stack, and how to effectively flow data between each layer.

What you'll own:

  • Writing from scratch code - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Java - to bring designs to life as interactive, beautiful, and bug-free features for customers to enjoy
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to pair- and mob-program and learn together
  • Continual learning, by staying up-to-date with new web development tools, patterns, and paradigms

Experience you'll need:

  • Proven work experience in web development (3+ years), writing code and working on an agile development team to deliver and maintain an enterprise website
  • Strong programmatic skills, being able to accomplish data manipulation and interactivity without relying on external libraries
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies, tools and processes
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) building pages and components
  • Experience with adjacent Adobe Marketing Cloud technologies (AA, AT, AAM)
