CACI seeks a highly collaborative and skilled mid to senior level front end web developer with demonstrated experience creating and maintaining websites. The web developer will also lend UI/UX expertise in concert with an award-winning development team for a public health surveillance system.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following:

• Executes assignments with the use of web applications, scripts, and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs.
• Works with clients to understand and define needs and develop and recommend solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in making documents accessible (e.g., 508 compliant)
• Ability to create and maintain responsive design to ensure web pages render on different device types.
• Designs, writes, and edits website content.
• Maintains a professional understanding of web development by tracking trends and participating in
• Interacts and communicates with end-users, management, vendors, and IT personnel.
• Assist with the preparation of user and administrator documentation
• Use of good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions to problems; ability to act independently as well as collaboratively when required and comfortable in an environment that requires multi-tasking and managing multiple competing priorities.
• May create end-user documentation (e.g., user guides, process flow charts, training materials).
• Communicates with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders daily.
• Provides senior management and project management with regular updates on deliverable timelines and project status

Required skills:

• Web page design experience
• 508 Compliance
• Adobe Acrobat Pro
• WordPress skills or other similar content management system
• Common Look other accessibly software
• Experience with web site analytics
• Knowledge of bootstrap
• Understanding of UX/UI, cross-browser compatibility, and general web functions and standards
• Video management skills: streamed videos need to be uploaded on YouTube through web content management system
• Understand information architecture for building out a site based on subject matter expertise needs
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to write and edit technical documentation

Nice to Have:

Some graphic design experience (Photoshop or use of an image library)

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or a related discipline or relevant certifications
• Must possess 6+ years of development experience with web development
