Artic Slope Mission Services is seeking a Web Designerto support a DEA contract in Arlington, VA.

This is a hybrid position - at least 2 days onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build web pages using a variety D
• Design and develop user interface features, site animation, and special effects elements.
• Contribute to the design efforts to enhance the appeal of the organization's online offerings and shall design the website to support the organization's strategies and goals relative to external communications.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Must have knowledge of web-based technologies including browsers ASP pages, HTML code, object oriented technology, and graphics software.
• JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Web Programming Skills, E-Commerce, Teamwork, Verbal Communication, cross-browser compatibility, Web User Interface Design (UI), Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services (REST/SOAP), Multimedia Content Development, API's and DreamWeaver.
• Strong communication skills - verbal and written
• Be able to work independently, as well as in a team environment
• Must be a US Citizen. Ability to pass a government issued background check.
• Be able to obtain a Public Trust or have an active Public Trust.

Specific experience in:

• Microsoft SharePoint development
• Drupal experience
• Mobile site development
• 508 compliances

Education/Experience:

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Graphics Design, or equivalent,
• Minimum of four (4) years' experience in web design. Eight (8) years of related experience is in lieu of a college degree.
