As a Front End Web Developer on the Marketing team, you’ll be an integral part of building and maintaining the very first interactions our clinicians have with the Aya Healthcare family of brands. Responsibilities:

• Build world class experiences for our clinicians with WordPress keeping usability and accessibility in mind
• Build, iterate, and maintain interactive web pages, editable/templatized marketing landing pages, and unique user experiences 
• Own the front end development across multiple brands within the Aya Healthcare family
• Leverage in-house APIs (REST) to build dynamic, interactive pages
• Work within HubSpot to assist with HTML emails, landing pages, and forms
• Work with Marketing UI/UX designers to translate designs into pixel perfect code
• Work with IT as a contact for Marketing-driven projects
• Work with project managers to estimate hours to complete tasks
• Be the expert on viability and approach to web projects

Required Qualifications:

• Solid, publicly viewable examples of real world HTML, CSS, and Javascript projects
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks throughout the week
• Self-motivated and able to effectively deal with a certain degree of autonomy
• Expert level semantic HTML experience
• Expert level CSS experience (we use Sass)
• Expert level, bullet-proof email development for all web clients including Outlook
• Expert level responsive web design experience
• Expert level jQuery knowledge and intermediate knowledge of ES6
• Experience with React
• Intermediate level experience building and maintaining custom WordPress themes
• Intermediate level PHP knowledge
• Understanding of HTML impacts on SEO (headings, DOM structure, etc.)
• Experience with cross browser testing (we use Browserstack as well as live devices to test web and Hubspot/Litmus to test emails)
• Experience with Git (we use Github) and comfortable working in the CLI
• Experience translating designs from Figma, Sketch, Creative Cloud, and sometimes even PDF mockups

Preferred Qualifications:

• Desire to help lead front end development within a fast-paced Marketing department
• Experience with Timber (a Wordpress templating engine)
• Experience with Twig templating (similar to Django, Blade, Handlebars.js, and Mustache templating)
• Experience developing with Hubspot’s HubL markup language and creating custom-coded workflow actions
• Experience tracking tasks and projects with project management tools (e.g. Basecamp, Asana, Jira, ClickUp)
• SEO experience
• Social media experience
• Server configuration (specifically WP Engine and Docker)
