Job Description Role Description:

  • This position will interact primarily with technologists in Consumer & Community Banking (CCB)
  • Uphold expectations for the team and business partners to meet FBR standards of required content and renewals of CCB resiliency documents e.g., Technology Recovery Action Plans (TRAP) and Application Impact Assessments (AIA). Be proactive and serve as a point of escalation
  • Assist application teams with coordination of resiliency test events
  • Oversight and follow-up on non-compliant controls at an application and component level
  • Engage regularly with peer and senior Technology and Business leaders to keep focus on resiliency; be visible and available to partners
  • Lead the team through Action Plan resolution, internal opportunities and overall strengthening of CCB Recovery Plans; drive simplification of processes and procedures
  • Promote the resiliency program by communicating policy or system changes clearly and concisely offering additional support and guidance, as needed
  • Likewise, be an advocate for stakeholders to inform the resiliency program where there are opportunities for improvement
  • Develop firmwide relationships (CIB, AWM, CB, etc.) to generate best practice sharing
  • Extract data from multiple data sources, merge, and perform analytics
  • Ability to succinctly document requirements and work with other teams to implement
  • Automate processes to reduce toil
  • Manage updates to the comprehensive data and reporting roadmap. Provide visibility into delivered items and the prioritized backlog.
  • Partner with the report and dashboard development team to understand end-to-end process and rate of delivery for solutions. Ensure current priorities are in line with expectations of CCB teams.
  • Perform deep dive analysis on data sets to confirm customer's requirements or questions.
  • Provide recommendations to management based on data driven insights.
  • Test changes to dashboards/reports to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Deliver ad-hoc report creation and/or analysis with speed and quality. Convert recurring requests into automated self-service options.
  • Publish and maintain documentation of rules and logic for analysis and reporting.


Experience:

  • Technology experience is required - Engineering, programming, infrastructure experience
  • Mainframe environment experience preferred
  • Windows Administration experience
  • Strong advanced Excel skills required
  • Dashboard creation and maintenance
  • SharePoint administration and maintenance
  • Java Script maintenance and updates
  • ETL and Analytics leveraging data from multiple data sources
  • JIRA
  • Application recovery
  • Program, project, or product management and organization skills
  • Proven success in leading a team or function with a focus on metrics and high quality
  • Demonstrated success in managing effective relationships within the firm, at multiple levels
  • Experience in Resiliency and/or CCB and/or a horizontal function supporting multiple Lines of Business is preferred
  • Demonstrated examples of process simplification with a risk and controls mindset
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication to various levels in the organization
  • Confident and strong executive presence
  • Business continuity accreditations are favorable (e.g., Certified Business Continuity Professional, CBCP)
  • Strategic thinker complemented by tactical initiative
