Summary
An exciting opportunity to create an unparalleled Quality and Testing Team in a dynamic global Gaming company! The VP of Software Quality and Testing position will serve as process owner of the Land Based Technology team's continuous improvement initiatives. They will analyze and present alternatives, make recommendations and aid in the areas of planning, performance, and business process re-engineering and/or improvement.
With extensive experience in the Gaming space, or closely related industry, you will be a trusted and sought-after advisor to business leaders to improve overall Platform technology performance as a key measure of success. Proven experience in building a sustainable center-led continuous improvement model involving various improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) that drives measurable process and resource efficiencies is essential. The successful candidate will be a change leader with industry, technology, and functional knowledge of the gaming industry. They will have a high energy level and be an obvious team player with strong negotiating, consultative, coaching, teaching, and people management skills.
What You'll Do
Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all automation and testing across global teams
  • Expert knowledge in embedded systems
  • Champion the importance of quality, and build a culture of quality, where the entire organization is aware of on-going corporate and team quality initiatives
  • Prioritize and implement projects/initiatives that drive performance towards company strategic and operational objectives, ensuring goal alignment throughout the system
  • Define and deliver aligned technology roadmaps across the land-based product verticals, supported by metrics and analytics, and managed in an environment that emphasizes quality and efficiency.
  • Champion the importance of software automation and code coverage efforts
  • Strong understanding of RCA and preventive actions frameworks
  • Support product Quality Framework (Q-Plan/Cert)
  • Assist central quality team to improve and implement strong technology governance and audit framework to drive accountability
  • Manage quality metrics that give holistic view of digital quality; and use metrics to identify quality improvement opportunities
  • Coordination of field issues, cross-functionally, to provide timely and accurate visibility to the organization and improve time to resolution
  • Ongoing drive to improve Aristocrat's quality foundations and ensure these are aligned and implemented across projects
  • Travel to support engagement with Australia, India, Texas, and Tennessee offices
  • This position will office in Las Vegas, NV and is not a remote opportunity


What We're Looking For
Required Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years Development and Test expertise in Gaming or related industry
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Extensive experience working with and testing Embedded Systems
  • Mature leader with considerable experience in broad reaching leadership roles in managing quality
  • Strong ability to influence businesses in a highly distributed organization
  • Experience leading internationally located quality teams to success
  • Past experiences working with a corporate quality organization, implementing, and managing formal QMS and implementing strong governance framework
  • Functional knowledge of the gaming, development, manufacturing, and/or technology industries
  • Strong facilitation and problem-solving skills with an ability to build strong interpersonal relationships
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to make complex subjects understandable for non-technical audience
