Job Description Associate - Voice recording engineer - -
Applies strong software development practices in building and deploying solutions
- Writes clean, well-documented, and well-tested code using Test-Driven-Development
- Works with development teams throughout the software life cycle ensuring sustainable software releases
- Ability to leverage analytics, usage patterns and telemetry to understand, troubleshoot and resolve issues and build proactive measures to mitigate future issues
- System thinking - Lead and participate in performance tests: identifying bottlenecks, opportunities for optimization, and capacity demands; participate in systems design & architecture reviews associated with Resiliency and Telemetry implementation
- Understanding of SLOs, SLIs and error budgets to ensure stability and performance
Additional Build Automation Skills
- Working knowledge of configuration management practices and tooling
- Ability to create and deploy infrastructure code through industry standard tools

Work with development teams throughout the software life cycle ensuring sustainable software releases
Perform analytics on previous incidents and usage patterns to better predict issues and take proactive actions
Build and drive adoption for greater self-healing and resiliency patterns
Lead and participate in performance tests; identify bottlenecks, opportunities for optimization, and capacity demands
Participate in the 24x7 support coverage as needed
Define and implement SLOs, SLIs and error budgets to ensure stability and performance
Define, create and track application analytics in support of SLOs
Design, code, test and deliver software solutions to improve our existing systems
Participate feature delivery ensuring reliability, scalability, resiliency, and operational stability from the outset
Manage production application delivery through CI/CD pipelines
Respond to priority incidents and facilitate blameless post-mortems
Action automated alerts with troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Lead and participate in performance tests; identify bottlenecks, opportunities for optimization, and capacity demands.
Create and maintain documentation/tooling needed for an effective production support
Participate in the 24x7 support coverage as needed
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a software engineering discipline
Mastery in at least two or more software languages (e.g. Python, Java, Go, etc.) with respect to designing, coding, testing, and software delivery
Adept in the development of automated tools, systems, and services in multiple technology domains
Advanced knowledge of one or more infrastructure components (e.g. networking, cloud services, orchestration tools, containerization, compute, and storage systems)
Proficiency in service-level changes to a system and troubleshooting components
Expertise in product and infrastructure support
Knowledge of risk and controls landscape, ensuring company-wide standards are met
Ability to execute within a customer-centric environment
Experience of defining and implementing Service level objectives and indicators
Experience in one or more software languages including Java
Advanced knowledge of monitoring and visualisation tools (AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana)
Good knowledge of internet protocols and web services (HTTP, DNS, REST, JSON)
Proficiency in implementing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GIT, Maven)
Experience of database technologies (SQL)
Cloud computing (Cloud Foundry, AWS)
Microservices architecture
Infrastructure as code (Terraform)
Databases (CockroachDb, MariaDb, NoSQL)
