Video C++ Developer Summary:

We are seeking a C++ Developer for the generation of video algorithms for our video servers. Additionally, this role works cross-functionally with global application and library development teams, and product design teams to create truly compelling products

Essential Functions:

  • Utilize experience with DirectX, Vulkan, OpenGL, GLSL, HLSL
  • Work with developers to design algorithms and flowcharts
  • Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
  • Work in a Test Driven Development manner, integrate in the CI process, write unit and application tests.
  • Integrate software components and third-party programs
  • Verify and deploy programs and systems
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
  • Gather and evaluate user feedback
  • Recommend and execute improvements
  • Create technical documentation for reference and reporting



Requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years experience of coding
  • English language proficiency
  • Experience developing on Windows, Mac OS and Linux
  • Experience with git version control
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Haves

  • A creative mindset
  • Agile/Scrum/XP experience
  • Background in live entertainment
  • Experience with audio processing: phrase detection, and BPM
  • A degree-level qualification in Computer Sciences
  • Availability to travel internationally
  • Experience with some GPU vendor profiling and debugging tools
