About the role: 

This role is open to remote workers.

This opportunity is open to those legally authorized to work in the United States and Canada. 

Limeade is looking for a seasoned leader to join the Product and Technology Team to lead our engineering team. Reporting to the Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO), the team is responsible for the frontend, platform services, data, machine learning and personalization, and underlying infrastructure of our products. In addition, you’ll care for people through their career development, nurture team culture, define and guide the company’s technology strategy, and closely collaborate with others across the company. 

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the CPTO to develop the future tech strategy and roadmap  
  • Working directly with the CPTO, VP of Product, Chief Information Security Officer, and others to deliver the product vision to customers at a high velocity and quality as well as to be able to say ‘no’ if we’re compromising the technology strategy  
  • Recruiting, building and managing diverse technical teams while mentoring and developing leaders within the organization  
  • Connecting with individual engineers on the team, support them in technical designs and implementation best practices, and be an advocate for the team’s needs  
  • Shipping market-leading software, balancing time, quality, features, experimentation, and financial success  
  • Managing engineering and cloud infrastructure budgets 
  • Building relationships and representing the engineering team with Customer Success, Customer Operations, Sales, Legal, prospects, and customers  
  • Collaborating and growing partnerships with our third-party technology providers  

Qualifications:

  • Able to collaborate cross-functionally and throughout a global company, partnering with teammates of differing levels of technical expertise, including our customers’ Executives and Chief Technology Officers    
  • Able to drive results in a high-performing and fast-moving environment  
  • Extensive leadership of high-growth SaaS platforms, preferably with a combination of both global enterprise SaaS and consumer technologies  
  • Experience leading and working with a worldwide team  
  • Experience with Azure and AWS ecosystems 
  • Experience deconstructing monoliths and moving to microservice and event-based architectures  
  • Experience guiding products, data management, and processes that must meet HIPAA and GDPR standards 
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions, vetting the technical postures of potential acquisitions, and developing the strategy to integrate the technologies post-acquisition 
  • Experience with reviewing customer and vendor contracts and representing engineering in the process
