About The Roll...
The Senior Director - Technology Monetization will be responsible for conceptualizing, productizing and commercializing opportunities for tech platforms in collaboration with technology leaders. In this role, the person will build the strategic vision for commercializing Walmart tech assets and lead the development, testing and roll out. In addition, the Senior Director will manage the relationship with commercial partners and ensure success of the commercialized products

What You'll Do...

  • Develop and champion a vision, strategy, and roadmap for commercializing tech assets to drive enterprise goals.
  • Liaise with senior executives to understand the commercially viable tech assets, understand the potential source of value, and determine the feasibility of commercialization.
  • Conduct research, evaluate competitive landscape and business trends, and perform quantitative analysis to evaluate potential opportunities.
  • Articulate issues that have the largest impact on the business, deliver on qualitative and data driven analysis to propose solutions and coordinate implementation of solutions.
  • Manage relationships with commercial parties; negotiate agreements and contracts; manage partnership integration; and secure necessary engagement and resource alignment for the creation of co-developed product features.
  • Work with cross functional teams to answer questions and make scope trade off decisions for successful partnership.
  • Works closely with Marketing and the business to launch products and ensures their adoption; coordinates post-launch activities to validate success of commercialized product.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 7 years' experience in software engineering or related field OR 9 years' experience in software
engineering or related field.
4 years' supervisory experience.

Master's degree in Computer Science or related field and 6 years' experience in software engineering
