Where:

The EverCommerce team is distributed across North America, with more than 40 office locations in the U.S. and Canada. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States; if you're near one of our offices and want to work in-office, we can set that up, or this role can be 100% remote. You must be eligible to work in the United States in order to qualify for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

A Software Engineer is responsible for participating in many aspects of the Updox software development lifecycle for both new application development and existing system maintenance, including:

  • Requirements Estimation
  • Software Development
  • Software Testing
  • Software Deployment
  • Software Demonstrations
  • Systems Documentation
  • Daily Stand Ups
  • Retrospectives



Skills and Experience:

Must Haves

  • Strong conviction for usability, customer-focused design, and web standards
  • Agile Practices Experience
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Source Control experience (Git Preferred)
  • 4+ years of backend or service experience (Java or C#)
  • 2+ years of web framework experience (Angularjs, Angular, React, or Vue.js)
  • 2+ years of style sheets experience (css, less, etc)
  • Working knowledge of Object-Oriented development and Object modeling
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Object to Relational Mapping frameworks
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)



Nice to Haves:

  • Experience Mentoring
  • Experience developing REST APIs
  • Experience with MySQL
  • 3+ years of experience with automated unit and integration testing solutions
  • 3+ years of experience with Build automation tools (Maven, ant, etc)
  • 2+ years of Ruby Experience
  • 2+ years of experience with message brokering solutions (RabbitMQ, Kafka)

Compensation: The base salary for this role is 115k+ annually in Denver and most remote locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
