Job Summary

Amentum is currently seeking a UI/UX Programmer to support an IT Managed Services program for a major national laboratory in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The overall program includes a 500+ work force performing Enterprise IT support, Service Desk, and Telecommunications support across multiple facilities and locations, for classified and unclassified telecommunications and information technology (IT) systems.

You will be a part of a highly integrated team of departments focused on delivering innovative, reliable, cost effective software system that provides software solutions to enable efficient operations.

As a member of the team, you will:

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets.
• Build page navigation buttons and search fields.
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like.
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images.

Minimum Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required; must not possess dual citizenship with any other country other than the United States.
• Must have a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience OR an Associates Degree and 12 years of experience OR High School Diploma / GED and 16 years of experience.
• Must be able to obtain a TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q clearance and maintain it for the life of the contract.
• Experience with Angular.
• Support front-end User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) efforts and web development activities.
• Experience with frameworks such as React, TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Software development skills in a Linux based environment.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Meet with the team to discuss work progress and brainstorm solutions.
• Experience with coding languages such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and others.
• Command of advanced application languages such as Ruby, PHP, Java, XHTML, Dot Net, Ajax, and others.
• Knowledge of Flash, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and others.
• Experience with content management systems such as WordPress, Magento, Joomla, WooCommerce, and others.
