TSE Equipment Engineering Technician
Description
As a TSE Equipment Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for TSE equipment thermal calibration, long-term strategy, equipment/hardware development, global thermal hardware calibration, supporting IATF laboratory compliance and auditing, coordination with cross-functional global teams and subject matter experts as well as local test floor support for thermal equipment challenges and activity. This is a 1st Shift position (8 am to 5 pm).
Job Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Equipment & Hardware


  • Assist R&D teams with thermal modification set-up and/or calibration aspects
  • Use appropriate resources and consult with management regularly to determine priorities and constraints
  • Provide coverage throughout the week by effectively managing available resources
  • Recognize and identify chronic equipment problems, report to management


  • Evaluate and follow up on Out of Tolerance (OOT) conditions
  • Recognize when engineering or vendor support is needed, work with management to coordinate
  • Research and recognize necessary replacement spares to be added to inventory
  • Work with appropriate personnel to develop recommended or required maintenance, verification, and calibration procedures
  • Coordinate with TSE to determine thermal hardware & equipment needs based on projected scope of work


  • Project Coordination


  • Coordinate and own projects to support TSE activities
  • Communicate with Managers, Supervisors, and Engineering groups to provide feedback on area projects
  • Coordinate and manage Facility activity as necessary to support equipment projects


  • Monitors the project from inception through delivery
  • May engage and oversee the work of external vendors


  • Continuous Improvement


  • Help to build, and serve as a key consultant, for equipment specifications with respect to thermal


  • Create new processes to improve the efficiency around thermal calibration practices
  • Encourage changes that lead to major improvements; Promote an atmosphere of change
  • Promote sharing and exchange of knowledge
  • Review, accept/reject, implement suggestions


  • Customer Service


  • Communicate F2F with customers
  • Analyze data from customer complaints
  • Provide timely follow-up to customer concerns
  • Help customers solve problems


  • Ability to function professionally and with tact for all situations


  • Provide a Safe Work Environment


  • Understand workplace health and safety policies
  • Consistently perform in a safe manner


  • Hold all who interface with the equipment, including engineering, technicians and vendors, to current Micron safety standards
  • Constantly maintain a safe work environment
  • Identify and correct any safety concerns with equipment or the area
