Role Overview
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Engineering team and help support our newly announced title, Table & Taste. You will report to the Technical Director to develop and support applications and game features, build pipelines, and client and backend developer tools. Above all, you have a passion for making tools that improves productivity
Responsibilities:
- Build and integrate a wide set of development, pipelines and administrative tools
- You will create build pipelines and automation
- Create logging, performance and monitoring tools for backend and client
- You will develop reliable estimates for tasks, and be able to propose alternatives to save on implementation time
- Contribute to and uphold good production processes and coding practices
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of PHP, JS, HTML and CSS development experience
- Experience maintaining source code and automating in GitLab
- Expertise building web-based, desktop or native application tools
- Experience with toolsets for profiling and optimizing backend and client systems
Bonus Points
- Expertise building layout and localization tools
- Experience with Unity/C# and working in games or a Unity vertical
- Expertise on creating and integrating performance and monitoring tools
