JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Monitoring test operations and test results, the resolution of engine performance, combustion, or rotor dynamic issues. Perform engine operational tuning and approval of test data including generation of certified test reports. Troubleshoot and resolve test facility and turbine engine operational issues using advanced lean practices, high speed data acquisition systems, PLC systems, 6 Sigma and other process improvement practices.

Position requires a Master degree and 2 yrs. exp. in performance testing, troubleshooting and diagnostics in high volume gas turbine or diesel engine manufacturing, which includes hot test operations, root cause & troubleshooting utilizing test cell automation software, high speed data acquisition, vibration spectrum analyzers, stationary emission monitoring equipment & statistical process control methodologies. Must also have 2 yrs (concurrent) exp performing gas turbine performance, combustion and rotor dynamics analysis.

Alternatively, would accept a BS in Engineering & 5 yr. Exp. in performance testing & troubleshooting and diagnostics in high volume gas turbine or diesel engine manufacturing, which includes hot test operations, root cause & troubleshooting utilizing test cell automation software, high speed data acquisition, vibration spectrum analyzers, stationary emission monitoring equipment & statistical process control methodologies. Must also have 5 yrs (concurrent) exp performing Gas turbine performance, combustion and rotor dynamics analysis.
