Moxe Health needs a test-focused software engineer to join the software development team as a software developer in test (SDET). You will help us build a great new health information network and technology stack to give valuable insights to all parties in the healthcare system. We are an agile devops team dedicated to delivering quality products for our customers.

Core Responsibilities:

• Act as a subject matter expert for software testing in a devops environment
• Configure and deploy test automation frameworks for all team members to use
• Develop and enhance automation tests and test data
• Develop and execute software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
• Investigate bugs using various available tools and logs
• Work closely with all team members so everyone is contributing to quality
• Adhere to industry standards and regulations
• Embrace and help evolve our agile development practices
• Write well-designed, testable, scalable, highly available efficient code
• Document and maintain software functionality and APIs
• Configure and deploy software tools, processes and test metrics
• Participate in all phases of product feature design and development
• Integrate software components into a fully-functional software system

Experience:

• 3+ years of software development/test experience
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or comparable experience
• SOLID understanding of object oriented programming concepts
• Excellent problem solving, coding and debugging skills
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
• Working experience with software engineering and design concepts
• Proven understanding of REST APIs and knowledge of how to interface with them
• Good understanding of front-end web development
• Fluency in C#, Java, Java, or Python and a solid understanding of security for cloud software as a service

Helpful if you have some of these skills:

• Experience working with automation tools such as Pytest, Specflow, and Selenium
• Experience with performance testing
• Experience with Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence
• Experience with test-driven development or another test-first methodology
• Experience with software engineering tools like Visual Studio, IntelliJ and GitHub
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Experience with AWS or other cloud-based environments
• Experience with continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) using Jenkins, CircleCI, or other tooling
• Experience with database design and querying concepts using Postgres, MySQL, or SQL Server
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, like Cerner, Epic, AllScripts
