Test Engineer II for Vocollect, Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute tests (manual and automated) to ensure product verification and specification compliance.
• Perform functional, integration, and system level testing to simulate customer use of Honeywell's integrated voice solution and mobility software solutions running on WinCE, Linux, Android and iOS.
• Perform verification testing of Honeywell's voice application on embedded mobile computers on various Honeywell proprietary devices as well as on non-Honeywell devices.
• Participation in Agile methodologies with direct experience on working in Agile Scrum model.
• Demonstrate software testing knowledge in newer frameworks such as ATDD & BDD using latest technologies such as Cucumber, Java, Selenium & TestNG.
• Proficient in end to end server testing along with multi-modality Android/iOS applications for mobile computer.
  Extensive testing of SDK using IDE like Visual Studio.
• Perform software development using Python on Honeywell internal test automation tool to contribute toward software automation efforts.
• Review specification documents change requests or statements of work to prepare test documentation and work effort estimates.
• Participate in documentation and requirement reviews for completeness and accuracy.
• Timely completion of verification efforts within defined schedule.
• Generate defect reports when test specification is not achieved.
• Provide engineering support to customers or clients. Effectively communicate issues cross-functionally and with project management.
• Participate in the improvement of EVT processes.Coordinate EVT test lab activities, equipment and tools.

YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent)in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, MechanicalEngineering, or a related field, and 5 years of experience in the job offeredor an acceptable alternate occupation. Full term of experience must include thefollowing skills: software development and testing using opensource frameworks:Selenium, TestNG; coding experience; object-oriented design; Java, C# orcomparable; experience in BDD automation frameworks: Cucumber; Certified SaFescrum master; Agile methodology; operating systems: Android/iOS, Linux,Windows; software quality assurance; and installing and troubleshooting complexcustom solutions. Must also have two (2) years of experience in Perl, Java, andPython. Approximately 10% travel required.Additional Information
