Position Summary:

You will be responsible for the creation and execution of electrical test plans. This includes writing test plans based on product documentation and functional specifications, using software test tools and test automation, performing tests, documenting test results, and validating product defects.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Create signal integrity and design verification test plans.
  • Execute signal integrity and design verification tests.
  • Review schematics, PCB layout files, and netlists.
  • Operate lab test equipment.
  • Collect, analyze, document, and review test results.
  • File and possibly, resolve, product defects and bugs.
  • Maintain test parameters database based on electrical data sheets and specifications.
  • Maintain test plan templates and test procedures.
  • Participate in Hardware Engineering design reviews.
  • Conduct test plan and test report reviews with the Hardware Engineering team.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Good understanding of basic electrical and electronics engineering concepts.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of electronic test methodologies.
  • Familiarity with lab test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, function generators, frequency counters, digital multimeters, etc.
  • Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks while meeting project deadlines and deliverables.
  • Ability to interact with customers, management, and other members of the team in a professional, positive manner.
  • BSEE or equivalent required.
  • 0-2 years of professional experience in hardware development.
