Resolve difficult multi-functional and technical engineering problems
As an architect you create proofs-of-concept, model behavior, map systems, evaluate tradeoffs, and focus on cross-domain, system and component design. Our architecture team helps people connect through the "in-between spaces" of our technology.
Set standards that enhance the patterns and principles used to integrate our Bounded Contexts
Our system is a built around principles of lean, resilience, agility, and responsible autonomy. You discover and create the rules of engagement for system integrations. Detailing patterns and areas of interest occurring within the system as a whole is second-nature. We ensure that our cloud infrastructure, practices and processes scale to meet the needs of our enterprise customers around the world.
You are able to mitigate risks and find opportunities, without compromising desired quality attributes. Measure and advocate for solid engineering practices like TDD, BDD, Human-Centered Design, agile, and lean methodologies.

Simplify workflows for engineers, assist with translating product requirements into solutions, and create functionally clean code and systems. Remove blockers across organizational models and help engineering teams work together.
- Create awareness around the integrity of the system at all times
- Advocate for business, user, data and system needs through factual research and discovery in a multi-product cloud platform environment
- Design system-wide patterns for continuous lifecycle improvements
- Work with teams to set standards, make decisions and write RFCs
- Speak to "Domain Driven Design", lean principles, product development flow, and engineer NPS.
- Co-create common language and solutions with technical and product leaders as well as teams of individual contributors
- Improve business decisions via thoughtful partnership with key leaders and teams to deliver resilient systems.

Who you are
You have familiarity with event-driven and streaming technology, serverless cloud, Kafka, and have a wide-range of understanding in a cross-platform and multi-functional capacity. Ideally, you have experience crafting RFCs, setting standards and doing research in a global context.
You calmly work with peers to resolve disputes, compromise, and communicate thoughtfully toward mutual understanding. You build consensus and make decisions at every level of the organizational elevator and are able to work daily in a collaborative remote setting.
You are systems-minded and color both in and outside the lines. You understand that all technology choices involve tradeoffs and you can argue for either side of a tough decision. You balance long and short term views and can see the forest for the trees. You understand how to diagram systems and model process and flow efficiency.
You have a growth mindset and find joy in challenge. You develop understanding across functional areas and domains. You are willing and able to develop strong public speaking skills and improve the technology industry at-large.
