Technology Lead
As a leader in the CMS space, you have proven you can successfully navigate your team through the complexities of a content management rollout to successful platform execution. You understand the need to have empathy for the content author, that each component contributes to the system as a whole and that consistency is design is of the utmost importance.
Critical Mass is currently looking for a CMS Technology Lead to join our growing team. Working with Adobe Experience Manager and the Adobe Marketing Cloud, you will have the opportunity to work with world-class clients on a class-leading CMS marketing platform. This role requires both the ability to architect CMS projects with our development team, as well as be able to collaborate in a cross-discipline capacity. At times, this will also include prototyping out new features within the AEM platform, as well as helping to craft and rollout the technical roadmap for our AEM installations.

This position can be done remotely depending on location within the US.
US Citizenship is required to obtain U.S. security clearance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the Technology Directors, Project Managers, Creative Leads and Account leads to design, develop and deliver digital marketing projects within the Adobe Experience Manager platform
- Lead, mentor and coordinate the developers on the CMS team, ensuring that development standards and best practices are being followed
- Responsible for building the CMS development team in partnership with the Global Enterprise CMS Practice Director
- Develop code in keeping with established processes and standards
- Estimated tasks split roughly 30%/70% between coding and non-coding activities
- Assist with architecture and development of project code
- Provide project estimates
- Ensure successful involvement of Project Management, Quality Assurance and Release Engineering team members
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience delivering projects within a CMS platform, preferably with Adobe Experience Manager
- 5 year’s experience with Java/J2EE applications
- Working knowledge of web development tools and frameworks including ES6, HTML5 and CSS3
- Creative problem solver and trouble-shooter
- 3 year’s experience leading development teams and projects
- A solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues
- Ability and desire to thrive in a fast-paced, client-services environment
- Experience working with RESTful web services
- Proven experience debugging large scale applications in production
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS
- Knowledge of HTTP protocol, UNIX shell scripting and networking
- Experience using and configuring build automation tools (Maven, Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo, etc)
- Experience with Vagrant and Chef
- Experience with Mobile First/Responsive design and development
- Experience utilizing and integrating with 3rd party APIs (e.g. Twitter, YouTube, Google Maps)
