About the job
We are looking for a talented software engineer to join the web engineering team. This position is ideal for someone who loves being hands-on and has a strong background in AEM development. You will provide expertise in a wide range of technical areas including software design and development in the roll out of our future state marketing technology ecosystem.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Lead by example! You'll design and implement high quality and scalable solutions on the AEM platform. Own the implementation and roll out of new global, multi-site, multi-language digital properties for Twilio.com and other domains!
- Ensure software developed adheres to best practices and quality standards through code and design reviews.
- Work with back end and client-side engineers to build components and features such as custom workflow steps, servlets, AEM components, and OSGI modules.
- Design and build efficient content models (touch UI dialogs), sling models, workflows, and templates.
- Cultivate platform expertise across junior developers and users.

Required:
- Experience in AEM site migration, MSM, Dispatcher configuration, and adobe cloud manager.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment and influence technical decisions at all levels, from developers to senior management
- 6+ years of experience in solution design and architecture of large, complex web sites and/or web applications built using Adobe Experience Manager
- Experience with project automation technology: Adobe Cloud Manager, BuildKite, Maven, and Jest
- Demonstrable experience in building applications using Adobe Experience Manager: experience some of the following Adv JS, CSS Based frameworks, Strong JEE experience, Apache sling framework, OSGI, Node & NPM, REST based services
Desired:
- AEM Developer Certification
- AWS Developer Certification
- Experience integration AEM applications with personalization tools such as Adobe Target.
- Degree with 6+ years of experience building, deploying, and scaling enterprise deployments of Adobe Experience Manager
Location
This role will be remote, and based in the USA. Approximately 5% travel is anticipated.

The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado, is $160,080 - $200,100
Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state. This role is also eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
