We have a remote-first culture and this position can be based anywhere from Australia or New Zealand. This role can be fully remote or a hybrid if you are in Melbourne. We encourage you to work in the way that best suits you.

The Opportunity

We currently have an opening for a full-time Technical Lead to support and grow our Core Performance Experience team, (aka Nyx team), which sits in our Career Camp. The team's mission is to enable our customers to create transformative, people-first, performance reviews that are easy to use and manage.

Your role will be to help nurture and grow skilled engineers by coaching, mentoring and supporting your engineers. You will be working both hands-on and hands-off, with our technical vision as your target. You will coach your team to create world-class system architecture, make smart technology choices and deliver best-in-class product quality. As part of this team of amazing humans…

You will...

  • Bring your passion for innovation and architectural fundamentals to support your team in crafting compelling solutions
  • Take accountability for your engineering approach and how your team ships product
  • Collaborate closely with your leadership team to improve your team’s performance and deliverables.
  • Match your engineers with opportunities that offer them growth, while fostering a safe and collaborative environment

You have...

  • A front end software engineering background in React / TypeScript
  • Previously helped lead high performance engineering teams
  • Proven track record in systems design
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders
  • The ability to evaluate large or complex problems and decompose into smaller iterable components
  • Experience with roadmap planning, OKR planning, and ensuring quality of code.
