The technical curriculum developer will drive technical training content creation, utilizing their technical and practical knowledge to shape a hybrid training program that is both engaging and effective.
Designs and develops technical product training curriculum and content that may use a variety of delivery methods including instructor-led courses, virtual, web-based, asynchronous e-Learning or other learning solutions. Ensures that training courses address all levels of customers in the use of company products/services. Designs training programs, gathering supporting technical documentation and developing course delivery materials, including presentations and instructor notes. Will use e-Learning development tools/software to create interactive course modules, product qualification requirements, etc., that include simulation scenarios, progress checks and knowledge assessments. Interfaces with advanced service support and engineering to develop requirements for course content. Facilitates testing and evaluation of training material with stakeholders for technical integrity.

Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Working knowledge of basic training methodologies.
  • Experience and product knowledge in TrueBeam and Halcyon
  • Experience and product knowledge in IDENTIFY as plus
  • Experience training technicians/engineers or personnel in other technical roles.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems or devices.
  • Experience using standard electronics troubleshooting tools such as oscilloscopes and digital voltage meters.
  • Knowledge and understanding of linear accelerators and/or related technology is a plus
  • Experience in course creation and instructional design is a plus
  • Experience with e-Learning development tools such as Adobe Captivate and TechSmith Camtasia are a plus.
  • Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
  • Typical minimum Education and Experience: Associate's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering Technology (or formal technical military training or equivalent experience) and 8 years of related experience. Bachelors degree in related field with 5+ years of related experience or Masters Degree in related field with 3+ years of related experience.
