Technical Curriculum Developer (Partner Enablement) at LaunchDarkly (Remote)

We are hiring a Technical Curriculum Developer for our Professional Services team and are looking for a creative and innovation professional who can drive strategic projects across EMEA and North America.

Responsibilities:Collaborate with our internal Partnerships team to build curricula that serves our reseller and service partner audiences, from basic product training and enablement to more sophisticated technical engagements.
Design, build, and maintain high-quality online courses, learning paths, live trainings, and various enablement materials to help our customers, partners, and team members implement and use feature management and the LaunchDarkly platform.
Collect requirements and create curricula based on a blend of company strategy, team priorities, feedback from internal stakeholders, and input from customers.
Partner with various teams around LaunchDarkly to incorporate training offerings into our documentation, in-app support platform, marketing campaigns, customer success programs, and more.
Establish and monitor activity and effectiveness metrics of training initiatives, making adjustments and iterating regularly to improve impact.
5 to 7 years of experience in the development of training content for self-paced (eLearning) and instructor-led instruction for the software field of which 2 of those years are working with partners; SaaS software experience preferred
Experience designing and developing omnichannel learning programs across all delivery mediums and content types (mobile learning, eLearning, video, gamification, virtual learning, live simulation, and live classroom)
Experience writing for a technical audience such as software developers, implementers, and administrators
Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in instructional design, including training task analysis, writing objectives, curriculum and lesson planning/design, implementation, and evaluation.
Proven ability to define, track, and communicate learning effectiveness metrics to improve curriculum and ensure overall impact and value
Excellent technical writing and editing skills, with the ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
Proven ability to simplify complex information into an easy-to-understand format
Content authoring skills in Articulate Rise, Storyline, Evolve, Captivate, or similar
Visual and graphic design skills
Proven ability to accept, manage, and act on feedback from collaborators, instructors, and end-users
High standards for work quality, self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision

Education:
- BS or MA in Instructional Design (or similar) with a computer software background; or BS or MA in Computer Science (or similar) with an instructional design background; or equivalent experience.
