Technical Architect, Salesforce

Location: Remote, US

Technology: Salesforce

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including Design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document engineering software applications.
  • Design flexible, scalable, and robust architecture for Customer Relationship Management to meet the dynamic needs using Salesforce (Sales/Service Cloud)
  • Review and integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirements.
  • Provide input into final decisions regarding hardware, network products, system software, and security developing a data strategy and a conceptual data model for an omnichannel experience
  • Must have Critical thinking and problem-solving Risk assessment and issue analysis skills
  • Understand the requirements and provide one or more options for the solution, utilizing Salesforce best practices.
  • Guide technical team to deliver a flexible and scalable solution that meets overall customer business requirements
  • Work with cross functional team actively in solution design and implementation
  • Manage critical customer cases and maintain clear and concise case documentation
  • Perform technical solution reviews and provide recommendations to improve adoption and usage
  • Must-Have Interpersonal Skills, ability to work with multiple stakeholders' partners of different backgrounds and in a multicultural environment
  • Ability to articulate and present different points-of-views on various technologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Mentors team members in technology, architecture, and delivery of applications
  • Experience with Salesforce.com integration solutions, including SOAP API, REST API, services, and Bulk API

Qualifications Required :

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • 8 to 10 years of experience as a team member of successful software project implementations related to Salesforce.
  • At least 6+ Years of Salesforce Configuration and Development experience.
  • At least 3+ years of experience on Salesforce & Force platform as an architect
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with different system using Webservices (REST or SOAP) or middleware.
  • Experience in Lighting web components and strong hands-on experience in developer practices. Ability to work independently and guide junior team members.
  • Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies, systems architecture, and ability to design scalable performance-driven solutions preferred.
  • Strong in Salesforce out of the box configuration this includes Data Model Security and Process Automations.
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce data model, custom objects, workflows, and configuration.
  • Should have worked in the Agile Project execution environment.
  • Salesforce Administrator, Developer Certifications nice to have
  • Salesforce/Apttus CPQ is a plus
  • Prior experience with Java or .NET technologies is a plus.
  • Prior experience with a CRM migration project is a plus.
  • Good understanding about the deployment techniques and change management.
  • Strong Team Player, Critical Thinker, Analytical, and strong Problem-solving skills are required
  • Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Perform hands-on solution design, proof-of-concepts and development and testing tasks as required in support of the implementation activities
  • Manage critical customer cases and maintain clear and concise case documentation
  • Perform technical solution reviews and provide recommendations to improve adoption and usage
