360Value, a leading provider of insurance-to-value estimating software, is searching for dynamic and creative full stack web developers who have the knowledge and experience to help shape our category leading solutions. Our small growing team is responsible for developing and maintaining products and services that aid clients in the property insurance industry in accurately estimating property replacements for residential, commercial and agricultural properties around the world. What the job is like:

• You will work closely with a cross functional team of developers, QA engineers, product owners and designers to build cutting edge single page web applications.
• Work with modern technology stack including Angular, TypeScript, Sass, HTML, Node/npm, Java, Oracle DB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL and AWS.
• Manage a small team in designing, coding, testing, documenting, and debugging single page web applications to ensure they remain in “category killer” status
Job Description:
• Assist and work alongside development teams as they build and maintain software solutions. Ensuring that work is completed in a timely manner with high quality in accordance with development standards and operational requirements
• Accountable for proactively driving the solutions to technical problems, and improvements within areas of responsibility in conjunction with leadership.
• Work with leadership and the architecture team to ensure that new and existing technologies and functionality have been properly evaluated, with defined success criteria, and that the team can support what they build.
• Appraise performance; address complaints; resolve problems; reward, and discipline employees; interview, hire, train employees; plan, assign, and direct work.
• Measure and ensure code quality, development productivity, consistent velocity, and improvements across assigned teams.
• Delegate responsibilities as needed and hold team members accountable.
• Assists in goal setting and continuous improvement while ensuring high engagement and satisfaction of employees.
• Carry out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
 

Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent degree with minimum 3.0 GPA with 3-5 years of related work experience
• Proficient in both front-end and back-end programming disciplines
• Work experience with Java, JavaScript, Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Sass, XML, SQL
• Ability to create simple and well-designed solutions to complex software problems
• Knowledge of internet client/server technologies and experience working building enterprise single page web applications
• Knowledge of PC and web based software testing in both client and server sides
• Team-player mindset with strong communication and problem solving skills
• 2 years’ experience leading a development team is preferred but not required
• Ability to lead agile development teams to achieve product, technical, and operational objectives
• Ability to manage development team velocity and work quality in accordance with established targets
• Ability to cultivate a professional team environment with high employee engagement
• Ability to coach and develop employees to reach their full potential
• Ability to work collaboratively with Product, Quality Assurance, and Technical Support personnel
• Ability to organize information and effectively communicate in both verbal and written form
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
