Systems Software Engineer
As the Systems Process & Tools Team, we are responsible for streamlining our requirements management processes and generating Systems Engineering workflows and procedures. We work across multiple teams to provide best practices and guidelines to foster standardization and consistency.
We are the global administration group for our requirements management tool and we provide training and user support across all our sites.

We're looking for an Autonomous Driving Systems Engineer to join our team!
What you'll be doing:
- Develop Systems design and requirements for the autonomous mobility platforms.
- Interact and work with the Platform infrastructure Software team to design and develop related System level requirements and architecture.
- Interact with other internal and external stakeholder teams like Safety Engineering, Hardware engineering, Component Engineering.
- Analyze and ensure that the defined System behaviors are inline with expected Safety certification needs.
- Work on breaking down system requirements into subsystem functional and performance requirements (perception, localization, automated planning, control)
- Help defining test cases for development testing, verification and validation
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in Systems Engineering Methodologies and processes
- Experience in working with Real-time Embedded Systems and Embedded Software development.
- Experience in working with Software architecture elements like Operating Systems, Middleware, multithreading, Computer Networks
- Experience in owning the technical responsibility over a system or subsystem (preferably in the software domain)
- Passion for robotics applications and a desire to work in a fast-paced research-powered industrial product development environment
- Experience in specifying system components and analyzing existing artifacts
- Bonus points (not required):
- Experience in a regulated, safety-critical environment, preferably in the automotive industry
- Experience with robotic systems, autonomous systems, and/or Artificial Intelligence problems and tools
- Knowledge of the math behind robotics and sensor systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of Multi-threaded C++ development in a Unix/Linux environment is a plus.
- Experience with safety certification (e.g. ISO 26262, IEC 61508, EN 5012X, DO-178B/C, etc.) is a plus.
