Job Description

Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control business is experiencing some substantial growth at our campus in sunny Orlando, The ATWS program is seeking for a Systems Integration and Test (I&T) Engineer with experience in planning and executing Integration & Test events such as Environmental Confidence, qualification, sub-system/system level, and flight testing. Key responsibilities: - Generate Test Procedures/Plans- Prepare Test Readiness Review (TRR) Packages- Execute Qualification Testing- Write Qualification Test Reports- Support system level integration- Support the build of subassembly hardware; assembly and Acceptance Tests. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to perform the following System Integration and Test (I&T) assignments: Verify that integrated HW can achieve the overall physical, functional and performance objectives. Verify that HW are compliant to associated requirement documentation. Interface with customer and program key stakeholders to assure that the HW is properly validated before sending it to the field. Ability to coordinate with personnel from different functional areas the needed resources for successful completion of testing. The candidate must have solid leadership skills and experience in the areas of developing and integrating systems; EO/IR systems is a plus. Desired Skills: • Demonstrate knowledge of subsystem HW/SW capabilities. • Design a system verification process that is performed to well-constructed I&T Plans derived from DOORS requirements. • Assure that system built-in performance has been achieved from the lowest level modules to the final assembled system. • Demonstrate the ability to operate comfortably with Software engineers, designers, and production personnel. • Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot problems and coordinate other integration participants for I&T program efficiency. • Deliver effective Customer presentations that include performance results, schedule status, and corrective action details. • Demonstrate awareness of test equipment management including function, calibration and security requirements. • Verify that test data is recorded and cataloged appropriately. • Generate concise but thorough test reports purpose-built for use in functional configuration audits and related V&V events.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years or more of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

Prior development program, test planning/execution, and test report generation experience.

Ability to operate comfortably with software engineers, designers, and production personnel.

Active secret security clearance

Desired skills

Prior EO/IR system experience is preferred.

Prior System Security, declassification experience is preferred.

Knowledge of subsystem HW/SW capabilities, sensor capability, emitter capability, and permissions for their use.

Experience designing a system verification process that is performed to well-constructed I&T Plans derived from DOORS requirements.

Demonstrated awareness of test equipment management including function, calibration and security requirements.
Verify that test data is recorded and cataloged appropriately.

Secret clearance with an investigation completed within the past 5 years.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate:
In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $102,400 - $170,600 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
