Come join Lockheed's Long Range Hypersonic Weapon team. Our system will travel at Mach 5 (over a mile per second). Helping us create build a system that goes that fast means overcoming a number of difficult physics and engineering challenges. You will be integrating hypersonic missile technology into an Army battery on a highly accelerated schedule to deliver a hypersonic operational prototype system to the Warfighter. We are looking for a highly motivated Systems Integration and Test Engineer to become a member of the Systems Design and Integration Team.

In this role, you will:• Draft, review, and release requirements specification documents, including defining the requirements and verification baseline• Establish system architecture and CONOPS, perform system level design and decomposition into requirements• Perform system analysis and interface definition and management/ execution• Participate in studies and system trades for enhanced capabilities• Lead other engineers, whether peers or juniors, in technical tasks.• Develop plans to on-ramp new mission capabilities while protecting the primary mission• Participate in and coordinate design reviews and technical product reviews• Support the program technical leadership and functional management on cost, schedule and technical performance

You will typically have 14+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree
Basic Qualifications:• Experience with one or more Systems Integration functions including:
a.) System trade studies and/or System modeling
b.) Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development
c.) System Integration, Test and/or Verification
d.) Concept of operations development• Knowledge of the Systems Engineering process including trade studies, design reviews, and system verification• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain Secret
Desired Skills:• Preferred 2+ years of experience with Hypersonic Programs• 3+ years with spacecraft architecture design, development, integration, test, with knowledge of space, missile and launch systems at the component through system level• System design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Propulsion, RF, Software, etc.)• Experience in requirements specifications definition, development, verification processes, decomposition, allocation, and tools• Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on an inflexible schedule, often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, incomplete data• Ability to interact with hardware and software developers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied • Strong communications skills (written and verbal), strong team leadership, administrative and interpersonal skills• Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and tackle numerous roles as part of the daily program operations• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker with the ability to select and apply appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change• Active Secret security clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret
