We are seeking a Nashville-based Systems Engineer to join our Messaging & Mobile Engineering team within the GETS department.

Describe the role:

• Candidate will contribute in planning, engineering, implementing, and supporting a broad base of collaboration, messaging, & mobile solutions globally.
• Candidate will work on multiple concurrent projects that are time sensitive and dependent upon for other project completions.
• Candidate is expected to provide management with direction and recommendations based on established policy and business requirements as well as collaborate with peer groups to identify scope and implementation approach to a project.
• Candidate is expected to actively participate in the day-to-day technical tasks as well as participate in 3rd level and on-call support rotation.
• Candidate will communicate and promote departmental strategies

The technologies that we design enable a multitude of business workflows that directly impact our firm's success. This group is at the forefront of implementing new, creative, and impactful technologies with ubiquitous access to AB technology that empowers our clients to be productive.

The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Creating and presenting project proposals to management for approvals
• Providing solutions to technical challenges facing the firm presently and future
• Timely delivery of projects
• Providing 3rd tier and periodic on-call support for the global technologies we are responsible for

Specific tasks include, but not limited to:

Maintain and develop .NET based projects Maintain and engineer solutions for AB's Active Directory infrastructure. Maintain and engineer various Microsoft Exchange on-prem and cloud projects Maintain and engineer solutions for mobile technologies utilized by AB. Specifically, MobileIron and Microsoft Intune. Maintain and further develop a library of PowerShell scripts that automate various AB workflow processes Contribute to various engineering efforts involving the messaging, directory, and cloud platforms utilized at the firm (Symphony, Cisco IronPort, Exchange, Active Directory, O365, Azure, Zoom) Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the Messaging team Continually develop the talents and skills of the team.

Qualifications, Experience, Education:

Bachelor's degree - Computer Engineering/ Computer Science

• Required Technical Experience and Skills:

• Scripting experience PowerShell, VBscript.
• Development .NET experience
• Experience with engineering Microsoft technology solutions

• Excellent US English communication skills including writing and technical documentation
• Highly motivated team player and diligent worker with experience and flexibility to support our onsite and offshore team
