Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate the design, development, and implementation of data center projects including but not limited to expansions, upgrades, installations, and decommissions
  • Review, update, and maintain infrastructure "as-built" documentation as re-configurations occur
  • Resolve bugs, performance problems, and other issues with production applications
  • Create and maintain monitoring technologies and processes that improve the visibility to our applications' performance and business metrics
  • Assist in the department's tickets and projects that represent infrastructure work and escalations from the internal support team
  • Deploy and configure servers, perform infrastructure patching
  • Interfacing with end-users for the purpose of designing and implementing solutions and design recommendations

Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize incoming tasks and/or project workloads to meeting SLAs
  • Proficient in monitoring, alerting, analyzing and troubleshooting windows and Linux based systems
  • Strong technical mix of Networking, Virtualization, and Windows Server stack
  • Experience in Powershell
  • Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure)
  • Experience with physical installation of rack servers, networking equipment and cable management
  • Comfort with collaboration, open communication, and remote teams.
  • Highly organized and able to manage one's own workload and priorities.

Qualifications: 

  • At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology infrastructure support
  • 4+ years experience managing Windows Server on physical and virtual hardware
  • 4+ years experience running and maintaining a 24x7 production environment
  • Advanced knowledge of authentication and directory services (Active Directory)
