Description:Candidates are desired to bring experiences in Missile Defense including Sensors and Sensor Networks, Communications, Fire Control, and Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) test environments.
The Systems Engineer (SE) will with teammates support analysis, design and generation of computer program requirements; development of test plans and procedures; verification of requirements implementation through software testing; support system level test; documentation of results; and detailed analysis of problems with recommended solutions.

As a Systems Engineer you will:• Perform as a member of a team working with peers, and engineers both junior and senior to you on technical tasks.• Assist more senior engineers with planning, implementing, and reporting on SE activities tasks to meet constraints of cost and schedule.• Support system-level integration and verification of system level requirements.• Perform data analysis to evaluate and troubleshoot system/element anomalies document and research computer program anomalies.• Support requirement verification test procedures and test reports as required by the supporting program.• Participate in design and code reviews for GMD-F products with element engineers, the program office, and the customer.
Basic Qualifications:• BS in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent.• Exposure to systems engineering development and application of tools/practices such as Model Based System Engineering (SysML), requirements development (DOORS) and Test Validation. • Must be able to maintain a secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to comprehend and work successfully with complex system of systems.• Demonstrated motivation with initiative to accept new technical challenges in complex system engineering assignments.• Solid communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
