Systems Engineer

You Have:

  • Experience applying supporting systems engineering management processes in a highly tailored manner
  • Experience providing system architecting and engineering expertise and leadership for complex projects
  • Ability to develop and manage system-level architecture baselines, including performance margins, derived requirements, and risk mitigation, sufficient to adequately bound software design activities, quickly understand impacts when changes are needed, evaluate key alternatives, and propose defendable courses of action (COAs) to ensure predictable project and system closure
  • Ability to work bottom-up while striving to be more top-down in engineering environments depending on project needs
  • Ability to plan and execute system-level integration and testing, including development of test strategies, system-level test cases and procedures, and identification of needed test resources
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with NRO or DoD customer missions and domains
  • Experience with architecting and engineering C5ISR solutions, including ground-based Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination systems
  • Experience leveraging Cloud technology and AI/ML algorithms to improve system performance
  • Experience working with software development teams applying Lean-Agile approaches and principles
  • Knowledge of modern software development approaches and processes and modern infrastructure technology
  • Ability to leverage model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools or SysML modeling tools when appropriate, depending on near-term and long-term project needs
  • Master's degree in Systems Engineering
  • INCOSE ESEP Level Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
